About Juanita
Holding an MA Music Education and TESOL certification from McGill, I focus on the anatomical realities of singing. You need to understand how your chest voice and head voice interact to maintain true vocal health.
My 13 years of experience as a first-generation Canadian teacher allows me to connect with students on a deeper level. We refine your belting technique and breath control using precise, actionable steps.
It feels rewarding to watch a student master complex phrasing. My background helps me simplify difficult concepts for self-taught players. I enjoy the process of watching your sound develop.

Effective training requires far more than just singing along to your favorite tracks. You will find that I prioritize technical drilling over performance for the first half of our time together. I assign specific homework vocal drills after every session to ensure that your microphone technique and vibrato control improve between our meetings. Drawing on 13 years of experience, I provide the structure that advanced students often lack in their independent practice.
