About Patrick
Thinking about the way we hold tension in our bodies, it is clear that vocal performance requires a holistic approach. I treat every session as a dialogue between the singer and the music.
We focus on rigorous breathing drills and pitch control to ensure you feel secure on stage. To keep the momentum going, I assign homework vocal drills after every session.
This helps reinforce the mechanics we discuss while you are away from the studio. My background ensures that even the most complex pieces feel reachable for intermediate students. You can expect a supportive environment where we prioritize steady development.

Breathing control and pitch accuracy are the cornerstones of my vocal training methodology. I draw directly from my 20 years of experience with Latin music to teach students how to connect their voice to their body. My BA from UCLA provides the theoretical foundation for teaching sight singing and music theory.
I am a firm believer that technical mastery simplifies the art of performance. My instruction is tailored for everyone from young kids to working professionals.
Managing stage fear is a critical component of my curriculum. I enjoy the process of watching a student gain confidence as their vocal range expands. It is remarkably satisfying to hear a student find their natural voice.
