About Tobin
I am an experienced Singing tutor with 11 years of teaching High School and College students. I have successfully taught over 250 students, helping them improve their vocal techniques, musical expression, and performance confidence. My teaching philosophy is based on personalized guidance, patience, and encouragement, making learning both effective and enjoyable.
In my lessons, I focus on vocal exercises, breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and stage presence. I encourage students to explore different genres and express themselves creatively. Many of my students have performed in competitions, recitals, and college events, often earning recognition for their talent and dedication.
Alongside singing, I include music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, giving students a well-rounded understanding of music. I aim to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel confident to experiment with their voice and grow musically.
My goal is to help students discover their unique voice, develop confidence, and cultivate a lifelong passion for music, making every lesson inspiring, engaging, and fun.

I focus on personalized singing lessons that adapt to each student’s learning style. Some students learn best through listening, others by seeing or practicing. I adjust my teaching approach accordingly to ensure effective learning. Creativity is encouraged at every step, allowing students to explore different musical genres, experiment with vocal techniques, and develop their own style.
Using diplomacy, I provide constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging way, helping students feel confident and motivated. Alongside singing, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm, vocal technique, and performance preparation. I also guide students in stage presence, emotional expression, and song interpretation.
By combining technical skill with creativity and expression, I help students grow as well-rounded musicians and performers. Whether students are pursuing singing for personal enjoyment or professional goals, my lessons aim to inspire confidence, foster creativity, and develop a deep connection with music.
