About Ophelia

My teaching approach is centered around building confident, expressive singers through supportive and tailored vocal coaching. Each lesson blends warm-ups, breath control, and pitch training with real-world application through songs that inspire you. I place strong emphasis on personal expression, helping students unlock their unique voice through interpretation and storytelling. Whether you're preparing for an audition, leading in a church ensemble, or singing for personal joy, I help you grow in confidence and control. We work on how to stay calm under pressure, project clearly, and sing with purpose. For adult beginners, I create a warm and judgment-free space to explore your voice at your own pace. If you’re part of a group or worship setting, I’ll guide you in blending, harmonizing, and performing with conviction. We’ll focus on vocal placement, diction, and tone shaping to match your genre and setting. My sessions also include exercises in microphone technique and performance readiness. I offer actionable feedback, consistent encouragement, and tools to help you stay inspired. Together, we’ll build the foundation for lasting vocal growth and joyful performance.

About the lesson

I'm a passionate vocal coach and performer with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I specialize in helping singers in Indie Rock, Alt-Pop, and Acoustic Soul discover and refine their unique sound. Whether you're fronting a band, performing at open mic nights, or writing your next song, my coaching style is creative, collaborative, and grounded in real-world performance.

My sessions blend vocal training with emotional storytelling to bring out the heart of every song. I guide singers through developing vocal texture, exploring dynamic phrasing, and using stage movement to connect with an audience. We’ll dive into mic technique, posture, and breath control—but always in a way that supports your personal style.

Songwriters can count on me for support with lyric writing and shaping melodies that stick. I help you not just hit the notes, but mean them. We’ll craft performances that feel authentic and bold.
