About Sharon
First sessions are simple; we evaluate your current range and check your breathing patterns. We look at pitch control and how your head and chest voice interact to form a solid tone.
Since I specialize in building a personalized song list around each student's range, we will select music that fits you perfectly. For intermediate learners and returning players, we focus on the specific technical hurdles you face. Self-taught players often need structure, so we revisit the fundamentals to ensure stability.
My goal is to ensure you feel secure in your vocal production. I provide a space where you can experiment without judgment. We will work through resonance and tone until you are comfortable. My hope is to prepare you for any performance or exam you have in mind.

Truthfully, I started my career as a guitarist before falling in love with the human voice. I hold a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy and draw on 13 years of experience. My teaching style is focused and tradition-rooted.
I have taught 110 students, ranging from hobbyists to grade exam candidates. I emphasize breath control and resonance to help you find your true sound. Helping you grow is my priority. I am proud of the progress my students make.
