My approach to teaching mathematics is rooted in clarity, patience, and adaptability. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable parts using real-life examples and visual explanations. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and actively participate, as I believe learning is most effective when it’s interactive and student-driven. Teaching techniques and methods: • Concept-based learning: I ensure students understand the “why” behind formulas, not just the “how.” • Step-by-step problem solving: Each topic is tackled in a logical and gradual manner. • Use of diagrams, number lines, and analogies to aid visual learners. • Regular quizzes and practice sessions to reinforce concepts and build confidence. Usual structure of a class: 1. Warm-up (5 mins): Quick recap or mental math to get started. 2. Core Concept (20-30 mins): Explanation of new topic with examples. 3. Practice Time (15-20 mins): Students solve problems with guidance. 4. Doubt Solving & Recap (10 mins): Address questions and summarize the session. Special features as a teacher: • I focus on identifying a student’s learning style and adapting accordingly. • Emphasis on building a strong foundation and logical thinking. • Encouragement and motivation are key aspects of my classes. • I track each student’s progress and provide constructive feedback regularly. For whom the classes are intended: My classes are designed for school students from middle to high school (grades 6-12), as well as those preparing for competitive exams or needing support in foundational math.
