About Preston

I have over 25 years of experience in a variety of media (acrylics, watercolor, pencil, pastel, charcoal, etc.) and an MFA. I have successfully taught students from elementary age level to college level, including Portfolio Preparation for admission into art schools.

About the lesson

Whether it's Portfolio Preparation, Beginning or Advanced Painting or Drawing lessons or lessons in illustration, I teach beginning and advanced techniques in a variety of media. i adjust each lesson according to the students experience. I include illustrated tutorials and personalized lessons to help guide the student to the next level.

Perfect! Preston is a highly trained professional who is very intuitive on meeting me exactly where I need improvement on the current project I am working on. He helped me jumpstart my education with a thorough introduction saving me years of frustration, not knowing essential tools and techniques that I will need to accomplish my goals.
