About Rajeev
I am a certified musician and vocalist from The London College of Music. I have certifications up to Grade 3 in Western Vocals as well as Theory of Music Grade 2 and am currently preparing to give Grade 8 Exams from Trinity College of Music, London. I have all the skills required for teaching music to all age groups and music has been a part of me ever since I first played music for my school in 1988.
Out of 18 years of work experience in various fields and work environments, I have a 2 year experience working for Shankar Mahadevan Academy based in Bangalore. I was posted in Delhi Public School Nagpur and taught more than 500 children right from Kindergarten to Grade 8. I taught a syllabus comprising of Indian Classical with Western Music and organized concerts with Mr. Shankar Mahadevan (one of the most renowned Music Directors of Bollywood) himself for the school.
Prior to that I have worked in an International School (IGCSE) at Rajkot, Gujarat. For 5 years I taught English through Music and was actively involved in training up children in vocals and instruments as well as producing music for the school and performing the same. Hosting and training choirs and giving music in events was always a part of my profile. I had this amazing experience of integrating music with academics in an international setup. I understand the role of an Educator in and out of the class and I will not disappoint you.
Currently I am working since October 2021 on a contract for White Hat Jr/ Byju’s FutureSchool wherein I Teach Piano to all the International students mostly from USA, UK, and Canada. I am also a Music Teacher at GEMS Modern Academy Kochi which is an IB & IGCSE School – one of the best groups of schools in UAE & India.
