About Petra
I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. I specialise in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. Whether you’re singing in community choirs, enjoying karaoke, or sharing songs in casual social settings, I create a low-pressure and encouraging space for you to learn. My lessons focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, good posture, and mindfulness in music to help you develop a beautiful, natural tone. I teach a variety of genres including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult styles. I’m passionate about helping people discover singing as a form of self-care, creativity, and building confidence. My approach is gentle and supportive, tailored to your unique voice and goals.
