About Maya

As an aspiring doctor, I love working with people and enjoy using my skills to help others. I have always enjoyed working with young people, as I have done in various volunteering positions such as with Girl-guides. I am incredibly passionate about STEM and believe that careers in STEM provide countless opportunities for exciting and world-changing research. Not only that, but the quantitative analysis and reasoning skills developed by STEM subjects are sought after in almost all jobs. This is why I believe in the importance of learning science for all.

About the lesson

Having recently completed my GCSEs, I am fully equipped with the resources and knowledge to tutor the most up to date GCSE topics. I will tailor my lessons to best suit your learning needs, focusing on areas of weakness to build a stronger topic foundation. This will include revision of topic content, exam question walk through and relevant homework tasks. It is my aim to provide learning that is interactive and engaged to ensure the best developmental results.
