About Naya

I am a passionate guitar tutor with over 11 years of experience and a **[Degree Type] in Music**. I teach a variety of guitars, including **Electric, Acoustic, Classical, Bass, and Jazz Guitar**, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and interests. My teaching emphasizes **improvisation, chord voicings, theory application, and songwriting**, helping students become versatile and creative musicians. I take a **student-centered approach**, designing lessons that meet the needs of both youth and adult learners. Over the years, I have guided students from **Beginner to Advanced levels**, including those performing professionally on stage. I focus on building strong technique while encouraging musical expression and confidence. Each lesson is structured to develop practical skills alongside creativity, whether it’s mastering complex solos, exploring chord progressions, or composing original music. I integrate exercises that strengthen rhythm, ear training, and musicality, making learning both effective and enjoyable. My goal is to help students **grow musically and creatively**, unlocking their full potential on the guitar. I believe every student can find their unique voice and style. I provide a supportive and inspiring environment where learning is fun, rewarding, and deeply fulfilling. Together, we can embark on a journey to explore, perform, and create music with confidence and passion.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for guitar is built on **technique, rhythm, and musical expression**. I guide students from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on developing a solid foundation while encouraging creativity. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s goals and learning style.

I emphasize **rhythm practice, groove development, and tempo control**, helping students play confidently and in time. Students explore different styles, including **blues, funk, folk, and contemporary genres**, learning to adapt their technique to each style. I focus on chord progressions, strumming patterns, and fingerstyle techniques to create versatility.

For students who enjoy **campfire or worship-style playing**, I help them refine chord voicings, transitions, and expressive playing to make their performance engaging and authentic. My lessons include exercises for **improvisation, phrasing, and melody creation**, ensuring students can express their musical ideas confidently.

I integrate practical tools like backing tracks and metronomes to enhance practice and performance. Students also learn to **read music, understand theory, and develop ear training** to strengthen their overall musicianship. My approach balances discipline with enjoyment, making learning effective and fun.

Ultimately, my goal is to **build skilled, confident guitarists** who can perform, compose, and enjoy music for a lifetime. Each student leaves lessons inspired, motivated, and ready to explore their musical journey further.
