About Zaylee
Curved-arrow notation, mechanism drawing, and aromatic chemistry form the core of my teaching practice. Organic chemistry is often the barrier for bright students.
I am a final year student at Stanford School of Medicine who scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT. Having spent 2 years tutoring, I understand the common struggles associated with SN1 and SN2 reactions or elimination reactions. My focus remains on clarity for those tackling alcohols, ethers, or IR and mass spectrometry. I currently support 100 students including pre-meds and biochemistry majors.
Whether you are dealing with radical reactions, isomerism, or amines, I apply high standards to every concept. Medical training demands precision and consistent results in challenging coursework. I have seen how A-level chemistry students often require a more rigorous approach to succeed. It is helpful to work through these topics with someone who views them from a clinical research perspective.

Does the prospect of drawing complex mechanisms cause you significant stress during your exam preparation? I incorporate past-paper mechanism walkthroughs to bridge the gap between theory and actual testing performance. My approach centers on the logic required for medical school admissions as I hold a degree from Stanford School of Medicine. I have spent 2 years helping pre-meds and exam candidates navigate these difficult topics with patience.
These sessions clarify the underlying rules governing reaction pathways rather than just memorizing steps. You will find that I maintain a very high standard for accuracy in your work. Let me know if you would like to go through some specific problems during our time together.
