About Lauren
Traditional tunes learned by ear from older players formed my musical identity. You might feel stuck with your current vocal habits. I earned a BA American Roots Music degree to better understand the mechanics of the voice.
I work with adults and returning learners who want to find their authentic sound. My goal involves helping you balance your natural tone with healthy technique. Vocal health matters more than any flashy trick.
I still remember the pickin parties in Cape Breton where I first found my voice. It is a pleasure to share this craft with you.

My BA American Roots Music degree informs how I approach resonance and pitch control. We explore belting technique without sacrificing vocal health. Harmony singing becomes simple with the right ear training.
