About Adianna

I am a patient, dedicated, and supportive tutor with experience working with children in both educational and behavioral settings as a Registered Behavior Technician. My background has helped me develop strong communication skills, positive behavior support techniques, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet each student’s individual learning needs.
I am passionate about helping children build confidence in reading and writing while creating a safe, encouraging, and engaging learning environment. I understand that every child learns differently, so I focus on using personalized strategies, positive reinforcement, and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and effective. Professionalism, patience, and consistency are very important to me. I strive to create strong relationships with both students and parents by maintaining open communication, being dependable, and celebrating each child’s progress along the way. My goal is not only to improve academic skills, but also to help students feel confident, motivated, and proud of their achievements.

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping each student learn at their own pace. I believe every child can succeed when lessons are made fun, simple, and engaging. I use positive reinforcement, interactive activities, reading exercises, writing practice, and step-by-step instruction to help students build confidence and improve their skills.

My teaching methods include:
• Phonics and sound recognition for beginning readers
• Guided reading and comprehension activities
• Writing exercises to improve spelling, grammar, and sentence building
• Games, repetition, and hands-on learning techniques
• Personalized lessons based on the student’s learning style and needs

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material, followed by a new reading or writing activity. Students practice through fun exercises, worksheets, reading aloud, and interactive learning. I also include time for questions, encouragement, and progress checks to help students stay motivated and confident.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, caring attitude, and ability to connect with students in a supportive way. I focus not only on academic growth, but also on building self-esteem and a love for learning. I create a safe and positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things.

My lessons are designed for children at beginner to intermediate levels, including early readers, elementary school students, and children who need extra support with reading, writing, spelling, or comprehension. Lessons can also be adapted for students with different learning needs or those who simply want additional practice and confidence in school.
