I use the communicative method to teach English. The main aim of this method is based on the eliciting of the new material from the students rather than being directly explained by the teacher. As a result, my students talk most of the lesson time (the percentage of the student talking time (STT) depends on his/her level). The higher the level of the learner, the higher is the STT.
