About Evan

The course I am studying is Aerospace engineering.

I want to help others prepare themselves for the difficulties that are present in maths courses at all levels. Whether it be GCSE maths or Engineering at University level - being prepared is extremely beneficial for anyone.

I see tutoring as an opportunity to help others and improve my skills along the way. I am eager to help you all!

About the lesson

The way I will teach includes attacking questions step by step and explaining the solution. I will assign relevant homework if I feel it will help the student, especially if more sessions are organized.

From experience, the best way to learn something is to completely understand each step, and practice until you feel you can do the question on an exam paper. This reinforces the student's confidence and better enables them to achieve the grades they want.

The typical length of a lesson is an hour to an hour however if required, I am happy to do longer or shorter. Generally, I am flexible with my lesson times.

I have BTECs equivalent to 4 A-levels in Engineering, and an A in GCSE maths. I have also completed 2 years of Aerospace engineering which entails a large amount of A-level maths and above.

My lessons are for people studying Maths, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Engineering from primary school level to A-level. I am also comfortable teaching BTEC as that is the route I took instead of A-level. I have personally experienced the difficulty jump from someone who did BTECs to university and overcome it.
