About Fay

"The smell of chalk dust and quiet concentration fills the room when I begin a new maths topic. Having taught for 13 years, I specialise in simplifying complex problem-solving strategies for Year 12 and 13 students.

I have successfully guided 149 students through the transition from school maths to advanced university preparation. My toolkit includes specific Vedic maths techniques that allow for rapid calculation and deeper conceptual understanding. Exam preparation is my bread and butter for those targeting the most rigorous UK institutions. I maintain a focus on clear logic and steady progress throughout our work together."

"Sometimes the hardest part of a lesson is admitting that a specific proof just does not click right away. I use my 13 years of teaching experience to break these hurdles down into manageable, logical segments for my A-level students. As a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with an MSc, I ensure that the maths we cover aligns with the high standards of UCL or Warwick.
