About Lim
I love the English language... though not enough to delve into poetry or literature. I like it....just not enough to love it haha!
It is my passion to teach and share. Whether it is English, meditation, about the universe or soul contracts.... or simply about my country, culture and life story... I'm very happy to. I enjoy listening and comparing "notes" and experiences as well - I believe there is always something to learn in other's life journeys. I love debunking my own projections and myths I used to believe in through the media and prejudice I grew up in .... and love debunking other people's myths and prejudices too! I find great joy in learning and growing together with others in deep self awareness. And I absolutely love sharing/showing the points that other's may not see about themselves (whether that be something positive or negative)
Though I cannot put my own standards and ethics unto others, I feel deep resonance when I do encounter other's whom have similar values as do I and deeply relish in those temporary life connections.

Able to help students feel welcomed and like they matter. Will help correct and improve your English as far as you'd like me to go to. Will converse with you and find ways to connect even with a language barrier.
Does not have up to date worksheets or textbooks for students to learn from. Focuses more on pronunciation and proper etiquette when conversing with other English speakers. Can help with writing too. Prefers English speakers on intermediate and advanced levels as English is my first language and I pretty much do not know any other languages. (Got some basic mandarin in my blood tho) Though I can learn and adapt! But would still prefer to communicate in English;)

Details
Depending on whether you'd like me to travel in Malaysia or outside of Malaysia/Singapore (as I live in between these 2 countries) the rates for travel will be applied accordingly. Extra costs need to be compensated for air ticket, accommodation and food if outside of Johor Bahru / Singapore. Anywhere within Johor Bahru will only be an extra cost of 200 RM on top of the hourly rate. Or 100 SGD if within Singapore.
