About Marko
I am a student at UCD studying Biomedical, Health, and Life sciences. I received 625 points in my leaving cert and I currently have a 4.16 GPA. I am a peer mentor and a class president where I am involved in helping my classmates get their voices heard as well as assist them in understanding confusing and frustrating topics from our classes. Because of this, I have extensive teaching experience and am able to adapt to any learning style that a student might possess. I find great satisfaction in supporting people in cracking a specific math problem or remembering a tough chapter, which is why I aim to provide high-quality tutoring wherever I can.

I put high value on in-depth understanding and the application of knowledge rather than rote learning. A quality tutoring session lasting for a few hours is proven to be as effective as a week-long, independent rote learning period. This is why my major goal is to simplify complex concepts and present them in a way that is digestible and manageable so that students can retain the information long term. I cater to individual learning goals and academic abilities so that my students are satisfied on an individual-based level.
