"Teaching feels less like a performance and more like a quiet puzzle that requires patience. I realized early on that most students simply require the right explanation at the right moment to succeed.
My BSc Physics degree from the National University of Singapore informs how I approach organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and stoichiometry. Sometimes, we spend sessions focusing on chemical bonding or balancing equations, but I always keep the student in front of me as the primary guide. I enjoy seeing the lightbulb moments that occur after 9 years of teaching chemistry."
