About Charis

I have 3 years of experience tutoring students, including through the Caltech RISE tutoring program, where I help young students in our community excel in math, science and more! I am also a part of the PAC peer tutoring system on my campus and serve as a tutor for fellow classmates taking on freshman year college classes here at Caltech. Finally, as secretary of Caltech’s own Society of Women Engineers chapter, I have helped to develop multiple programs and events that focus on bringing STEM tutelage to underrepresented communities and schools both in LA county and beyond (virtually!).

Hi! My name is Charis...I am an undergraduate junior studying astrophysics at the California Inst. of Technology. I specialize in helping students with subjects ranging from algebra and precalculus, to English and essay writing, to test preparation! I am excited to begin developing a personalized plan for your student (grades K-12) that will ensure they succeed academically this school year!
