About Maya Jade
I’m a Broadway performer, Pilates instructor, and digital media specialist with a passion for movement, storytelling, and helping others feel their best. With over five years of experience teaching Pilates, I’ve led classes at USC for athletes and dancers, at SOHO House, and as BALA’s lead instructor for their NYC Popup store. My background in performance gives me a deep understanding of body awareness, breath control, and endurance, which I integrate into every session to create a challenging yet mindful workout. Beyond Pilates, I specialize in social and digital media strategy, working with brands, influencers, and creatives to elevate their online presence. Whether I’m coaching a client through a Pilates session or crafting a compelling brand narrative, my goal is always to empower people to move with confidence—both physically and digitally.

My approach to Pilates mat instruction blends my experience as a Broadway performer with dynamic, core-focused movement, emphasizing strength, mobility, and mind-body connection. Having worked with athletes, dancers, and clients of all levels, I tailor each session to individual needs, ensuring proper form, breathwork, and injury-conscious modifications. My teaching style is energetic and motivating, incorporating classical Pilates principles with contemporary functional training to build stability, endurance, and flexibility. Sessions can be 30 minutes (perfect for a lunch break) or a full 45- or 60-minute workout, designed to leave you feeling strong, centered, and refreshed.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect movement with performance, drawing from my Broadway background to enhance posture, breath control, and fluidity. I create engaging, results-driven sessions that cater to beginners, advanced practitioners, and those recovering from injuries. Whether you're looking to build a solid Pilates foundation, complement your athletic training, or simply improve strength and mobility, I offer a personalized and transformative approach to your fitness journey.
