About Isla
I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, degrees that allowed me to explore both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Over 9 years of teaching, I have supported students at various academic levels, helping them overcome confusion and build long-term confidence in chemistry. My teaching style emphasises clarity, patience, and consistency. I adapt explanations to suit each learner’s pace and learning style, ensuring no concept feels rushed or intimidating. I value creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with chemistry through reading, application-based learning, and reviewing industrial processes. This keeps my lessons relevant and connected to real-world chemistry.
