About Mira
I have 7 years of experience teaching Chemistry to students preparing for examinations, university pathways, and deeper scientific understanding. I earned an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, which provided strong grounding in molecular structure, reaction mechanisms, and the analytical thinking required for advanced chemistry. This academic background allows me to explain both theoretical concepts and calculation-based problems with clarity and patience.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and focused on deep understanding rather than memorisation. I enjoy helping learners break down difficult chemical topics into manageable steps, using real-world examples and visual reasoning whenever possible. Chemistry becomes much more understandable when students stop seeing it as a collection of formulae and instead recognise it as a connected story of how matter behaves and transforms. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic theory, bonding, reaction pathways, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, and organic chemistry using calm explanation and step-by-step reasoning. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind chemical rules so that problem solving feels logical rather than confusing. Each session is designed to feel supportive, structured, and encouraging, allowing learners to build confidence as they progress.
Lesson structure is adapted carefully to each student’s level. Beginners work on periodic trends, compound naming, basic reaction writing, and introductory mole concepts. Intermediate learners strengthen balancing equations, concentration calculations, energy changes, and laboratory interpretation skills. Advanced students explore deeper organic mechanisms, kinetics, thermodynamics, and exam-level application questions that require analytical thinking. Every lesson includes guided practice, clear correction, and explanation so students improve consistently.
Chemistry lessons help students develop precision, scientific reasoning, and long-term confidence in tackling complex questions. Over time, learners begin approaching chemistry with calm focus rather than anxiety.
