About Gianna
My interest in chemistry developed through curiosity about how microscopic interactions produce observable changes in materials and energy. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Sc in Chemical Technology, where I gained strong foundations in both theoretical and applied chemistry. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students navigate challenging topics with clarity, patience, and structured explanation.
I approach teaching with empathy and adaptability, recognizing that chemistry can feel overwhelming without proper guidance. I adjust explanations using diagrams, analogies, and step-by-step reasoning to match each student’s learning style. Creating a calm and encouraging environment is central to my teaching approach.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through continued study, application-based learning, and exploring how chemical principles support modern industry and technology. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because it allows me to support students in building confidence and scientific understanding.

Lesson structure is tailored to the learner’s academic level and confidence. Beginners receive patient guidance with terminology, symbolic representation, and foundational problem-solving. Intermediate students strengthen quantitative reasoning, reaction analysis, and laboratory interpretation skills. Advanced learners focus on deeper conceptual justification, exam preparation, and analytical problem-solving. Each lesson includes discussion, application questions, and structured correction to reinforce clarity and accuracy.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop attention to detail, analytical discipline, and confidence in scientific thinking.
