About Milo
My interest in Chemistry developed from curiosity about how raw materials transform into useful products. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, where I gained strong theoretical knowledge and practical insight into chemical processes. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through foundational and advanced topics, helping them build confidence and clarity. I believe effective teaching requires empathy and adaptability. I take time to understand where each student struggles and adjust explanations accordingly. I rely on diagrams, real-world examples, and step-by-step reasoning to make abstract ideas accessible. I encourage questions and create an environment where mistakes are viewed as part of learning. Outside teaching, I stay connected to Chemistry through reading, applied research topics, and continuous learning. Teaching Chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I see students grow from hesitant learners into confident thinkers. Supporting that transformation is the most meaningful part of my work.

Chemistry becomes far more engaging when students see how individual concepts connect to form a complete picture of matter and change. My lessons focus on helping learners understand atomic structure, bonding, reaction pathways, and energy changes through clear explanations and logical progression. Rather than relying on memorization, I emphasize conceptual understanding so students can confidently explain why reactions occur and how principles apply in different situations.
Lesson plans are adapted carefully to student level. Beginners work on chemical symbols, formula writing, balancing equations, and basic reaction types using visual aids and guided practice. Intermediate learners study stoichiometry, periodic trends, acids and bases, and reaction mechanisms with increasing independence. Advanced learners explore equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics, and applied industrial chemistry concepts, strengthening analytical accuracy and reasoning. Practice questions and reflection are integrated to reinforce understanding.
Chemistry lessons also build patience, discipline, and confidence. As learners gain clarity, they approach scientific problems calmly and methodically. Many students discover that Chemistry is logical and approachable when explained properly. My goal is to help learners replace confusion with confidence and develop strong scientific thinking skills.
