About Lina

I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, academic experiences that provided me with both deep theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students at multiple levels, guiding them through conceptual and computational challenges. Teaching chemistry has revealed that students flourish when lessons are structured, visually engaging, and conceptually grounded, creating a foundation that builds both confidence and independent reasoning.

My teaching style emphasizes clarity, patience, and personalized guidance. I carefully assess each learner’s understanding, then scaffold lessons to address gaps while promoting active engagement. Through guided practice, step-by-step problem-solving, and thoughtful questioning, I help learners internalize concepts and develop self-assurance in tackling new problems. I aim to create an environment where curiosity is nurtured, and mistakes are treated as essential steps in learning.

Outside of formal teaching, I stay actively connected to the field through research, literature review, and analysis of chemical methods. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to present real-world examples and applications. Teaching chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners transform uncertainty into mastery, developing skills, clarity, and intellectual independence that last well beyond the classroom.

Chemistry can feel abstract if learners don’t see the logic behind molecular behavior, reactions, and transformations. My lessons focus on connecting microscopic interactions with observable outcomes, ensuring students understand why reactions occur and how chemical principles interlink. Topics covered include atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, and reaction kinetics. I use real-life analogies, visual aids, and guided problem-solving to make abstract ideas concrete. Learners are encouraged to explore patterns, ask questions, and reason through chemical phenomena rather than memorize procedures.

Each lesson is adapted to a student’s level. Beginners are guided carefully through foundational concepts, simple calculations, and visual interpretation of molecules. Intermediate learners deepen their understanding of reaction mechanisms, quantitative problem-solving, and experimental reasoning. Advanced learners tackle multi-step calculations, thermodynamic concepts, and data analysis to refine accuracy and conceptual insight. Every session includes reflective exercises, practice questions, and constructive feedback that reinforces understanding while encouraging independent thought.

Beyond academic mastery, Chemistry lessons develop patience, logical thinking, and confidence in approaching complex systems. Learners often find these skills transfer into other disciplines, helping them become more observant, structured, and resilient thinkers. My goal is to foster curiosity, competence, and enduring understanding so that chemistry feels approachable, meaningful, and intellectually stimulating for every student.
