About Lena
My interest in chemistry started during my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and deepened while completing a Master’s degree in the same field. Over 8 years of teaching, I have guided students of varying levels through the complexities of chemical theory, laboratory techniques, and problem-solving. I focus on making challenging topics approachable through clear explanations, relatable examples, and structured practice.
I believe every student can succeed when lessons are adapted to their pace, strengths, and interests. Beginners develop confidence in basic chemical concepts, intermediates refine analytical thinking and experimental skills, and advanced learners tackle complex problem-solving and research-oriented questions. I aim to foster independent thought, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the subject beyond rote memorization.
Beyond teaching, I stay actively engaged in current chemical research, educational innovations, and laboratory practices. I integrate real-world examples, contemporary scientific discoveries, and practical insights into lessons to inspire learners and make chemistry relevant and exciting. Witnessing students develop confidence, analytical skills, and a genuine interest in chemistry is immensely rewarding. My ultimate goal is to cultivate learners who approach the subject with curiosity, persistence, and enthusiasm, ready to apply their knowledge creatively and effectively in academics, laboratories, and everyday life.

Chemistry becomes fascinating when students can connect abstract theories to practical observations and experiments. My lessons cover organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry in a structured and accessible way. Beginners focus on fundamental concepts, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners engage with stoichiometry, reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, and laboratory experiments, gradually developing deeper analytical skills. Advanced students tackle complex problems, multi-step reaction pathways, and experimental data analysis to enhance problem-solving abilities and scientific reasoning.
I emphasize step-by-step explanations, visual aids, real-life examples, and hands-on exercises to make learning interactive and understandable. Students are encouraged to ask questions, discuss concepts openly, and approach challenges with curiosity and resilience. I aim to build both competence and confidence, ensuring that learners not only understand the subject but also feel empowered to explore further. Each session is tailored to the individual’s level, allowing students to progress at a comfortable pace while achieving measurable growth in understanding and skill.
Studying chemistry strengthens critical thinking, logical reasoning, and attention to detail. Learners develop the ability to analyze results, interpret data, and apply concepts in new contexts. Over time, they gain self-confidence, problem-solving capability, and an appreciation for how chemistry shapes the world. My goal is to cultivate curiosity, analytical ability, and a love for learning, helping students thrive both academically and personally while preparing them for future scientific challenges.
