About Celine
My journey in Chemistry started with curiosity about how substances interact and transform at a molecular level. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, where I developed a deep understanding of theoretical principles and practical applications. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided learners of different backgrounds, helping them progress from uncertainty to mastery through structured and patient instruction. I prioritize clarity, adaptability, and support in my teaching. I take time to understand each learner’s thinking style and tailor explanations using visual aids, real-life examples, and stepwise reasoning. I encourage questions and emphasize that mistakes are natural learning opportunities. Beyond teaching, I continue engaging with Chemistry through research, reading, and experimentation. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness students gain confidence, develop analytical skills, and enjoy understanding scientific concepts. Supporting learners’ growth and independence is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Chemistry becomes easier to understand when learners are guided through concepts with clarity and structure. My lessons focus on atomic structure, bonding, reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, and energy changes, emphasizing reasoning over memorization. I help students see the interconnections between concepts, fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Lessons are designed to build confidence gradually while keeping students engaged and curious about the subject.
Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s proficiency. Beginners focus on chemical symbols, basic reactions, and formula writing using visual explanations. Intermediate learners develop skills in stoichiometry, periodic trends, acids and bases, and reaction types through guided practice. Advanced learners explore equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics, and reaction mechanisms with structured problem-solving strategies. Carefully selected exercises reinforce concepts and allow students to track their progress effectively.
Chemistry lessons also cultivate patience, attention to detail, and logical reasoning. As learners gain clarity, they feel more confident in independently tackling scientific challenges. Many students begin to view Chemistry as logical, structured, and achievable. My goal is to help learners develop both understanding and self-assurance in scientific reasoning.
