About Anya

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 9 years of experience and hold a PhD in Chemistry. My expertise lies in chemistry for industrial processes and the fundamentals of chemical engineering. I enjoy working with students who want to see how chemistry goes beyond the lab and into large-scale production. In my lessons, I emphasize reactor design, process control, separation techniques, and material balances. I believe students learn best when theory is linked to practice. That’s why I use industrial case studies to show how principles are applied in real-world manufacturing. I also integrate process flow diagrams into my teaching. These tools help learners visualize how different operations connect and how efficiency can be improved. My approach is structured but flexible. I adapt lessons to each student’s background, making sure complex ideas are broken down into clear, manageable steps. Over the years, I have guided learners preparing for exams, research, and professional careers. Many of them have appreciated my focus on problem-solving and real applications. I aim to build confidence by encouraging questions and creating an interactive learning environment. Chemistry becomes much more engaging when students can connect ideas directly to industry. Let’s work together to master chemistry for efficiency and innovation in manufacturing.

My teaching approach in Chemistry is systematic, clear, and focused on simplifying complex ideas. I believe that every learner can succeed when concepts are broken down into manageable steps.

I work with students of all levels, guiding them through the building blocks of Organic Chemistry. My lessons cover topics such as Nomenclature, Functional Groups, Reaction Mechanisms, and Isomerism.

I emphasize the importance of understanding chemical structures before moving on to synthesis. By carefully connecting each idea, students develop a strong framework that supports more advanced learning.

Every session includes worked examples and guided practice. I provide consistent feedback so learners can refine their understanding and avoid repeating mistakes.

I am especially good at supporting students who are passionate about the environment (Environmentalists) and those curious about life in the oceans (Marine Biologists). I help them see how organic compounds play a role in their fields of interest.

My sessions are interactive and designed to build both accuracy and confidence. Sometimes we focus on detailed mechanisms, while other times we explore broader applications in science and industry.

Together, we will build a solid foundation for organic synthesis and deepen your understanding of carbon compounds. With practice and clarity, Organic Chemistry becomes less intimidating and more rewarding.
