About Manuela

Hi, I'm Manuela Abakah-Odoom! As a university STEM student and former high school honors student, I bring a solid academic background and a genuine, approachable empathetic style to every session. I aim to connect with kids and parents, making everyone feel right at home. I love working with elementary students—especially those who need a bit of extra patience, visual aids, or a confidence boost in math and science. My sessions feature a fun warm-up, collaborative homework review, hands-on guided practice, and an independent wrap-up. With plenty of experience tackling tough problems, I'm here to turn frustration into lightbulb moments and help your child thrive!

About the lesson

As a reliable university STEM student who was a former honors high schooler, I bring a deep academic foundation and connect instantly with kids and parents so everyone feels completely comfortable. I specialize in teaching elementary students, especially those needing extra patience, visual aids, or a confidence boost in math and science. My typical lesson plan features a fun warm-up, a collaborative homework review, hands-on guided practice, and an independent check or wrap-up. Having helped many students navigate challenging STEM problems, I love breaking concepts down so young learners build real skills and confidence.
