About Jackson

About me: I am a current student at BYU. I have been married for 2 years. I love surfing, skiing and long boarding.

About me and chemistry: I love chemistry. I think it is so fascinating to know how the world around us works. I also know that where I love chemistry, 99% of the world does not. My goal is to not only help you understand and learn chemistry, but to have fun while learning it.

Why you should choose me: If you choose me as your tutor, we are going to learn chemistry, but we are going to have a good time doing it. I’m going to work hard to make fun.

Why you should trust me: I am a current student at BYU. I am preparing to go into dental school next year. I just took the Dental Admissions Test and got a perfect score in the organic chemistry section and scored in the 99th percentile in general chemistry.

About the lesson

I teach high school and college students in chemistry as well as students preparing for the DAT or MCAT.

I pride myself in my ability to take complex and difficult concepts and break them down into very understandable chunks.

Get ready for tons of dumb analogies that help you memorize information like about how chemistry applies to Travis Kelce’s and Taylor Swift’s relationship.

Typical lesson plan will involve a discussion of topics that student needs to review, analysis of student’s grasp on concepts, and problem/concept work.
