About Michael
I am a Data Analyst for a gambling company, before that I was a Management Accountant. I studied Mathematics at Loughborough University and received a 1st Class Hons degree. I have done mathematics tutoring with children in the past of various ages/abilities.

My teaching method is to initially establish the child’s understanding/confidence in the topic we are covering. I would then help them to understand any areas they are unsure of and cover any new areas by trying to link it to their current knowledge in a logical way. I would then always finish by doing some examples/problems, initially with the child and then letting them work through themselves once I’ve established their ability and am able to use challenging examples.
