About Irene
I am currently studying the fourth year of the early childhood education university degree at URL-Blanquerna.
I have completed my ESO and Baccalaureate studies at the Center d'estudis Joan XXIII (Jesuïtes Educació). I did primary and infant education at the Escola Patufet Sant Jordi.
The languages I am fluent in are Spanish, Catalan, English and Galician.
I like working with boys and girls, for this reason I have worked as an after-school monitor in different schools, I have given private classes and I have been a babysitter for boys and girls from 0 to 13 years old.

I believe in an active methodology where the student is the builder of his learning based on a significant understanding of the contents. My objective is based on helping the student to become more and more autonomous, this will imply: learning to organize homework and school exams; to detect which are their weakest points and therefore those that we will work more in the classes and; who is able to motivate himself to learn and understand what is more complex. We will work on all this based on the material that the student needs to promote greater understanding, such as: school textbooks (in the event that your center uses them), online activities, exercises similar to those at school , plays, cooking recipes, conversations and practical activities with everyday material that help to understand school subjects as useful tools for day to day.

Irene es una persona muy empática, se fija en pequeñas cosas y siempre hace las preguntas adecuadas para aprender de la mejor forma. Le apasiona la educación y buscar la manera mas adecuada para ayudar al aprendizaje de cada niño o niña, adaptndose a sus necesidades específicas.
La he conocido en la universidad y hemos hecho practicas en la misma escuela. Las niñas y niños tardaron muy poco tiempo en cogerle confianza ya que es una persona muy cercana y atenta.
