About Jade

Hi there! I’m Giada, an experienced academic tutor with over six years of teaching and mentoring students of all ages. I graduated from a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London.

I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Essex and a BSc in Electronics & Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, both awarded with top grades. I also studied at the University of Hong Kong, strengthening my expertise in AI, machine learning, and computer science.

Over the years, I’ve supported more than 40 students across GCSE, A Levels, Advanced Highers, National 5, and IB, helping them secure A* results in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths, as well as top marks in English language exams. I hold a Cambridge C2 Proficiency certificate and achieved 8.5 in IELTS, and my students have gone on to score 7.5+ in IELTS themselves.

I specialise in:
- Exam preparation (Maths, Physics, Psychology, Computer Science, English)
- University admissions support (personal statements, UCAS, interview preparation)
- English language test preparation (IELTS, Cambridge exams)

My students have been admitted to leading universities including Imperial College London, King’s College London, University of Edinburgh, Univeristy of Glasgow, Bocconi, IE, ESCP, Les Roches, and Glion.

My approach is personalised and supportive – I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and long-term goals, whether that’s boosting grades, preparing for exams, or securing a place at a top university.

Let’s work together to achieve your academic goals and make your university ambitions a reality!

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Before starting, I assess your goals, current level, and preferred learning style, so we can create a personalised study plan together.

For exam preparation (GCSE, A Level, IB, Advanced Highers, Nat 5), I focus on building a deep understanding of the subject while also teaching effective exam strategies to maximise marks.

For university admissions, I offer structured guidance on personal statements, UCAS applications, interview preparation, and practice with common admission tests.

For English language learners, I provide targeted support for IELTS and Cambridge exams, with speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice designed to help you reach the score you need.

Lessons typically include:
️ Clear explanations of key concepts
️ Step-by-step problem solving
️ Practice exam questions and mock tests
️ Constructive feedback and progress tracking

I aim to make sessions interactive, engaging, and confidence-boosting, so that every student not only improves academically but also feels motivated and capable of achieving their ambitions.

Giada’s lessons helped me achieve 8.0 in IELTS in just 4 month, I started off having a low B1 in English. She gave me targeted practice in speaking and writing, and her corrections were so detailed. I couldn’t have done it without her. This helped me to get into the university I wanted to go to: University of Edinburgh, helping me through the entire application process and visa process. I am so happy that I found her, cause I would not have made it without her.
