About Raquel
I am a student of the Teacher Training program (PGDE) at the University of Strathclyde for English and Spanish. I have a BA degree in English Language and Literature and a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have worked as a teacher and as a teaching assistant for more than one year. The feedback received from my students has always been outstanding and positive: they highlight my personalised planning, my empathy towards them and their learning process, my sense of humour and my competent command of the subject matter.

I base my classes on a very communicative approach, where there is a constant dialogue and feedback between the student and the teacher. I prepare the lessons as personalised as possible to suit the needs of every individual. I always make sure the teaching is done in an approachable way and with an open and sympathetic perspective. Pupils are in the centre and their learning is what determines the classes. I provide them with the support, tools and strategies they will need to face the subject and give the most of themselves.
