About Emily
Tutoring:
I have two years of one on one tutoring a middle school student with learning differences (ASD, Dyslexia, and ADHD). I helped my student with reading, writing/spelling, science, math, and even helped them memorization lines for the school play. Much of my work involved helping with my student complete their homework and teaching them study skills.
Personal Educational Experience:
As a person with Dyslexia and ADHD, I have a lived experience of what it is like to be a student with a learning differences. For much of my life, I went by undiagnosis and had to learn what study skills and educational strategies worked for me. Once I got diagnosised I learned how to advicate for myself and manage my accomidations.

I am a graduate student with learning differences looking to help fellow LD students thrive.
Each student is different and will need different support. Lessons will be shaped according to the needs of the student. Open communication between me, the student, and the parent is encouraged to ensure that the students needs are being met.
I can provide academic tutoring for K- 12 students in all subjects except - calculus, triginometry and foreign languages. Study skills and mentoring can be provided to all students regardless of subject matter.
