About Saswata
I am Saswata Roy Choudhury. Currently pursuing MA in philosophy. I have been a professional drummer for various projects/bands etc. Rock and metal is my thing. I learned drums in Calcutta school of music and from various other musicians including John Paul, Sambit Chatterjee etc.

It may come as a surprise to many, but to learn drums some basic lessons are to be learned without questions, creativity or improv. So there is nothing extra to do with teaching methodology in the beginning.
Once the basic lessons are learned, my students would learn real songs as lessons and know to make their own creative drum parts. They would learn to read music and learn from the greatest books written by the greatest drummers.
