About Ramya

I am a qualified teacher with an MSc in Mathematics and a BEd. I have over five years of experience teaching in Indian schools and taking home tuitions. My goal is to make learning easy and stress-free for every child.

Since I studied in Tamil medium, I have a deep and natural command of the language. I help students speak and write Tamil with perfect pronunciation.
In Math, I specialize in removing 'Math Phobia' by making the basics very clear and simple.

What makes me different is my professional training in Special Education. I have spent five years working with children who have different learning needs. This has taught me to be very patient and helpful. At Hello Ramya Academy, I don’t just teach lessons; I build a student's confidence. I am dedicated to helping every child succeed in their school exams and board results.

1. My Teaching Method and Techniques
"With an MSc in Mathematics and a BEd, my teaching philosophy is built on 'Patience and Precision.' Having worked for 5 years in traditional schools and private coaching, I focus on making difficult topics easy to understand.

For Maths: I follow the C-P-A approach, using real-life examples so students understand the logic before memorizing formulas.

For Tamil: As a Tamil medium scholar, I focus on the L-S-R-W framework, emphasizing correct uccharipu (pronunciation) and proper sentence structure.

Special Education: I am professionally trained to teach children with special needs. I use visual aids and go at a pace that ensures the child feels comfortable and successful."

"I offer flexible sessions tailored to the student's school curriculum:

Review (10 mins): Clearing doubts from previous classes or school homework.

New Concept (20 mins): Explaining the day's topic using simple tools, diagrams, or stories.

Guided Practice (20 mins): Solving problems together from the textbook (NCERT/Samacheer Kalvi, etc.).

Summary (10 mins): Recapping key points and setting a small goal for the next class."
