About Elysia
I am a passionate Chemistry teacher with 4 years of experience and a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry. My goal is to make complex topics approachable and exciting for all students. I specialize in demystifying quantum chemistry using clear derivations and illustrative models that bring abstract concepts to life.
I believe every student can excel when concepts are broken down step by step. Lessons are structured to balance theory with practical examples, helping students see chemistry in action. My teaching approach in Chemistry is focused on building a strong and lasting understanding of concepts. I cover a wide range of topics, including biochemistry, macromolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids, metabolic pathways, and enzyme kinetics. Lessons are designed with deep analytical reviews to help students grasp complex ideas clearly. I use structured case studies to connect theory with practical applications.
I integrate concepts from Zoology and Botany to show how chemistry drives life processes. Students are guided to see connections between chemical reactions and biological systems. I encourage questions and discussions to make learning interactive and engaging. Assignments and exercises are tailored to challenge thinking and reinforce learning.
My goal is to push students to achieve academic excellence in biological chemistry. Together, we refine understanding of life’s chemical processes.
