My approach is direct and personal. High expectations and genuine support. If you have a drive to improve and a love of making music, I would love to work with you.

I’ve had many students come to me years later to thank me for giving them the skills and base to grow beyond what they thought was possible. I would love to help build those skills with you.

About the lesson

I have been singing since before I could talk, and I have spent the last 13 years helping other people discover what their voices can do.

I offer private voice lessons for students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to performers preparing for college auditions. I am a music educator and Head of the Music Department at a public high school in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. I graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Music and am an active member of the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association, the American Choral Directors Association, and the National Association for Music Education.

Lessons cover vocal technique including breathing, posture, tone production, vowel placement, phrasing, diction, and range extension. I teach all styles including classical, musical theater, pop, contemporary, and vocal jazz, and I have coached singers in Italian, French, German, Latin, and English. I have directed and music directed over a dozen musical productions and my choirs have performed in New York City and on the Fox Cities PAC stage.

I have coached students for college auditions, musical theater auditions, honors choir, and district and state solo and ensemble festivals. In 2026 I was named a finalist for the Fox Cities PAC Influential Theater Educator of the Year.
