About Emma Louise

I am currently a Law Student at the University of Surrey.

At GCSE, I achieved an 8 in English Literature and a 7 in English Language. I believe that English comprehension and writing skills are integral to everyday life and help with finding and achieving future goals - with the right English grades, an immense amount of paths will be uncovered. I then went on to complete my A-levels in Law, Sociology and Business!

Every student works at their own pace, which I will use efficiently in the time I have with them. I curate lesson plans tailored to what the student is aiming to achieve and will work with their school teachers to ensure they are achieving their predicted grades or higher.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I go through proper exam techniques which ensure my students receive an A (7) minimum in their exams. I also go through exam questions under timed conditions, complete any necessary reading, complete homework and help proofread/edit their essay. I ensure that my lessons are tailored to the needs of each and every one of my students and make sure each concept and quote is explained thoroughly.

Emma is very friendly and knowledgable. She is an exceptional English tutor and I couldn't be happier with the progress my daughter has made under her guidance. Her teaching style is not only effective but also very engaging. Emma has a unique ability to break down grammar rules and literary techniques that my daughter was initially unable to understand at school. She prioritises her student's success because she constantly checks In on my daughters grades for assignments or exams and provides insightful feedback and any tips on how to improve!
