I have previous experience working as an outreach associate at NOAA: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration where much of my work was dealing with the day to day. Including, scheduling meetings and managing daily calendars, handling financial matters and documents, communicating with clients, and making business purchases.

I am also a trained engineer, studying at the University of Michigan, with a lot of website development knowledge.

As an Intern at the New York County District Attorney's Office I spearheaded a program to decrease the levels of opioid abuse in New York City. I worked alongside Assistant District Attorney's to advise and assist with ongoing cases and help with trial preparation by maintaining case files and data. I believe this previous experience working in the legal field will provide the knowledge and leadership skill necessary at your organization.

While finishing my bachelor's degree I have worked as a student research assistant at miRcore, a not for profit organization which has the vision to create a global multilateral chain which treats individuals based on their unique genetic profile. This experience has given me a strong foundation in understanding the use of new biotechnologies and working alongside teammates to lead research in genetic problems such as, Alzheimer's, autism and depression. I am certain that with my previous experiences and strong leadership skills I can make a great contribution to your team.

About the lesson

When working with a prospect, the most important aspect of the entire process is building a rapport. At this point in time, students have potentially struggled with various topics, so the importance of instilling confidence in them before any tutoring begins is essential to their success. Nevertheless, prior to scheduling sessions, I like to meet with the student and/or parent(s). We work hand in hand to build their specialized plan of action. Students create a detailed description of their current situation and their desired results. Next, we come up with a set of goals and how to implement the plan of action appropriately in order to accomplish said results. This plan depends on the immediate needs of the student, but many plans include some sort of accommodation to pre and post-session communication inorder to track progress.
