About Josey

I have 15 years of teaching experience educating students in math and science. I have two Bachelor's degrees in Math and Physics and have a passion for seeing students succeed.

I enjoy seeing the looks of joy on the faces of my students after they successfully acheive milestones in their Math and Sciences education.

I served as a teacher's assistant in college and went on to assist the Physicians in labs during medical school. I have had a passion for teaching ever since! As a full-time teacher or as a medical professional overseeing other staff, I have never stopped passing on my expertise to those around me.

I have 15+ years of math and science teaching experience as well as undergraduate degrees in Math and Physics. Inductee to national honors fraternities in both Math and Physics.

About the lesson

I like to find out their level of expertise first and then help them set achievable milestones to help them acheive their goals.

I believe that all "types" of students can learn if they take the initiative to learn. I love working with students to help them acheive their goals.

Due to a series of circumstances out of my control, I had to leave my previous teaching position. My favorite memory of that position was one of my students asking the principal why I had to leave. In his words: "I have learned more from her then any other teacher."
