About Olivia

I have just recently graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Bartow a High School at 4th in my class with a 4.764 GPA. I will be attending the university of Florida Honors Program in the fall. I have tutored many subjects ranging from spanish to math. I can teach any level of math from kindergarten to AP Calculus BC (calculus 2), including statistics. I have taken at least one AP or IB exam in every subject and have received mostly fives (out of five) on the exams. I am determined to make each tutoring experience individualized so that the student enjoys learning the material and therefore learns it. I aspire to share my love for learning!

What I enjoy most about the work I do is sharing my love of learning with others. It is amazing that I get to see people's faces when they finally understand and make connections whether that is after the first session or after multiple.

I have recently graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Bartow High School.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I will try multiple teaching techniques to see what technique works with each individual student. Since everyone learns in different ways, whether that be through writing it down, visually, or practice, it is essential to find out what method of teaching works best so that the child (or teenager) is able to receive the information more easily.

I have worked with a variety of students, ranging from students with ADHD to students who need extra attention and motivation to work on their school work.

Students should either analyze their own needs or discuss their problems with someone close who can give an unbiased opinion on what the student needs.
