About Arjen

I have a broad experience in teaching, from science to language, from junior high to college. This allows me to connect the subject matter to things learned before, as well as to other subjects if that is helpful.

I love the subjects I teach, the students I teach, and the work of teaching itself. I am patient and willing to slow down or take a step back to make sure that students really understand what they are doing. Just jumping through hoops may help your test scores for a while, but true learning is about understanding.
