About Mohammad

All math up to pre-calculus. I try to remove fear from math and instill flow and fun into a discipline around puzzles and games. There's nothing like a student understanding something they previously didn't. I have a master's degree in Statistics and a career in Data Management and Analysis in the Healthcare industry, but teaching is much more fun and rewarding.

About the lesson

Getting to know the student personally and introducing myself. A bit of levity. Fiding out what the student needs as specifically as possible. Is there math anxiety? Are some prerequisited/fundamentals missing? Is growth mindset present? Is this a B student wanting an A or a D student wanting a C? Finally, what specific mathematical concepts does the student need knowledge of and practice with.
