About Jason

Understanding math is like building a piramid. New understanding grows from fundamentals. If you/your child doesn't understand a concept, I always take time to first verify that you understand the underlying concepts. I'll teach you how to understand how the math works, not just memorizing equations (because memorized equations can be forgotten at test time, but understanding isn't lost).

Let's work to gether to get you to surpass your math learning goals.

I started tutoring classmates in middle school. I love helping other people understand. The "aha" moment on a person's face is priceless.

I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I've also tutored/coached for 7 years.
