About Dhanesh

At First Step Coaches, we believe that any individual can succeed under any circumstance given the right resources. We strive to be that resource, that option, that crutch for students looking to build their foundation in a subject or polish their skills to mastery level. As current students ourselves, we understand the stress that ensues when a topic is unclear or when your academic career depends on a certain grade. Through our individualized approach, we will get to know your thinking process and tailor our instruction to your strengths and weaknesses. We started First Step Coaches because we care about the students who are struggling in school and need some motivation to pursue their dreams. We will put in the work as long as you do!

I graduated Cornell University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude and will attend Boston University School of Medicine in August. My past teaching experiences include being the Head Teaching Assistant for Biochemistry in college as well as a Teaching Assistant for Physics and a Tutor for Genetics and Organic Chemistry.

About the lesson

The new student will send me information regarding what topics specifically he or she needs help in so that way, our first session will be focused on finding the right teaching style.

I have worked with mostly college students recently but have experience with elementary and high school students through volunteering.

You want a teacher who will be patient. Your teacher should work with YOUR style of learning and should not force a certain way of learning upon you.
