About Taofik
I am a Teacher (qualified up to PhD level) and I aim to provide professional tuition where I can use my qualifications and experience to enhance student’s learning. I teach Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology at GSCE, High School and University levels. I also have home tutoring experience where I teach same subjects on one-to-one basis to both young and older learners. I am a very caring and competent teacher who will make a worthwhile and valuable contribution to Science teaching.

In order to teach my students, I use course materials which are challenging, explicit and relevant. I also establish and nurture a friendly relationship with my students both individually and collectively to eliminate all elements of fear in them.
Part of my teaching method is to link every course I take to everyday life activities so that students can understand better. Students learn faster and retain more information if materials are presented in an environment that is conducive, interesting and interactive. For this reason, I always ensure that the atmosphere is lively and exciting. I strive to present my educational material using a variety of multimedia including video and power point slides. I also encourage students to seek new knowledge and explore their own ideas through the use of internet as a means of complementing course lectures and laboratory exercises. I strive to engage my students with brain tasking assignments to distract them from off-task behavior. Finally and most importantly, I aim to continually improve and refine my teaching on a daily basis; and so value feedback from my students and colleagues.
